Odp: Fly Fishing for Taimen in South of Poland

There is no taimen in Poland. The closest species present in the Dunajec, the San and the Poprad is Danube salmon (Huchen, Hucho hucho L). As far as I know, it is sometmes caught on fly, but rather on big nymphs, not on streamers. Very big streamers for Danube salmon are used in Austria, but your rod seems to be far too long for prevailing conditions.
Please consider visiting reservoir near Kraków in Cholerzyn, where the place will be for flyfishing only and the stocking is done only with all kind of trout, and small salmon, charr and Danube salmon.
