Yes March, April is good for Trout fishing. Porto airport is the best choice,
with a good train link into Coimbra, or by car, direct motorway. However,
there is little flyfishing to be done around the Coimbra area. We are
approximately 45 minute drive from Coimbra.
Unfortunately, we cannot sell you a direct licence, as this we obtain from the
Camara on a Concession, as parts of the river can only be fished by
Concession. These parts are well stocked from Trout Pens further up
and released as part of the Camara`s programme of sustainability.
