Sorry guys, i realise this is a Polish forum and i should post in Polish, but it is 1000 easier for me to right in
English. I know many of you on here will speak English well so i hope you dont mind.
1. San permit - i intend to fish the San - odcinek specjalny, sometime in September/October for 3 days, not sure
of dates yet. I have fished this section on several occasions in the past between 2006 and 2009. I always got
my permit from a man named Lech in Lesko, he was a balif on the river, a very kind man who always helped me
out. Unfortunately i learned Lech passsed away from a sudden heart attack not too long ago.
Can anyone advise me where i need to go to get a permit for this section of the river?
2. San - I have fished this section in April, May and June, i have never fished it around September/October.
When would be the best time to go, i.e. when should it fish best, early September, late September/early October
or late October?
3. Float tube registration number: i just bought this Snowbee float tube: http://www.snowbee.co.uk/fly-
fishing/float-tubing/
Unfortunately this float tube has the brand name Snowbee written in the place where the registration number
needs to go. Will it be neccessary for me to write/paint over this, i dont want to destroy the tube too much? And
can anyone advise how i should put the registration number onto this tube, with a marker pen, a sticker or
paint?
4. I live in Krakow, i plan to use the tube on Bagry as it gets stocked with rainbows. I have heard of a place
called Brzegi in or near Krakow that also gets stocked with rainbows and allows float tube fishing. Can anyone
give me directions to Brzegi and tell me where can i buy a permit to fish there. Does Brzegi have a website?
5. Can anyone recommend any other lakes with good trout fishing within a two hour drive from Krakow that
allows the use of float tubes?
