Hi Danny,
If you have no time for riding in Poland looking for good fish on the specially protected fisheries, take a short and soft "dry fly rod" from 0 to 3 class and some fish like dace (Leuciscus leuciscus - avg. 20-25 cm, up to 40 cm), chub (L. cephalus - avg. 25 - 40 cm, up to 70 cm) or ide (L. idus - avg. 25 - 35 cm, up to 60 cm) you can catch in many Polish lowland rivers.
If you want to get a fishing license, ask in the forum and perhaps someone will advise you. In general, we have a two types of waters:
- grayling and trout regions
- lowland waters ( a bit cheaper )
But if you want to know where in Poland the big browns are, mail to Kuba Standera like he's sugested above... when you want go on fishing with him, take a heavier rod (#4/5 and #7/8) and bigger flies like streamers
Best regards
Krzysiek
